1Black is a Black business and Black community focused platform, that specialises in British journalism which reports on Black people’s experiences with businesses and institutions. We are dedicated to amplifying Black voices through independent journalism, thoughtful analysis and trusted reviews, while providing an integrated purpose-driven community with protected Black spaces enabling connection, visibility, learning and economic opportunities.
Alongside these dedicated Black spaces, we also provide shared spaces for Black individuals and anti-racist allies who actively share our values and commitment to equality. Organisations meeting this anti-racist standard actively help remove barriers to Black people accessing leadership and decision-making roles while building institutions that better reflect the communities they serve.
